Hawks Soar Over Eagles in Opening Wrestling Win

Our Hawks wrestling team began their road to - hopefully - another D1 state title last week with a 68-3 win over the Eagles of Barrington High School in their first dual meet of the season. There were outstanding performances from all of the Hawks, as they nearly shutout the Eagles. Anthony DiMauro stuck out as a big performer for the Hawks, defeating his opponent 16-0, and Devin Rivet also had a great meet, pinning his opponent in only 10 seconds. Both were examples of our wrestling squad's grueling practices that have prepared them for their title defense. The entire team contributed to the domination of the Barrington Eagles, as the final score was 68-3.
