Soccer Keeps Moving Forward with Win over Portsmouth

Coach Johnston was very pleased with the team’s win against Portsmouth on Wednesday night. He said the team played very well and managed to create a lot of scoring opportunities, even though they didn't cash in on most of them, as only a single goal was enough to bring home the "W". That goal was scored by senior forward Craig Conway late in the second half. Despite some small mishaps defensive lapses, the Hawks only allowed the Patriots a couple of good looks at the net.

The Hawks have North Kingstown up next on Friday night, home at Hayden Stadium at 6 pm.
