Watching the Hawks play against Chariho, one would have never been able to guess that our guys had lost their season opener, 6-2. They clearly came into this game prepared, and it showed. Not only did they win but they also did so by blowout.

The Hawks got started on a high note, scoring a goal off a header just six minutes into the game. Chariho barely had any time to recover from the first goal when the Hawks scored again less than 10 minutes later. From there, there was no stopping the Hawks despite their having been on the receiving end of what appeared to be a few bad calls by the referee. The Hawks went on to score five more goals.

The Hawks are looking forward to finally playing a home game, against Tolman on Wednesday,9/17. Hopefully, this win over Chariho is just the first of many this season.

Programming note: The Network originally planned to broadcast live the game against Tolman, but due to the scheduled Freshman Mass of Welcome, we will unfortunately be unable to do so. Students from The Network staff, however, will be on hand to cover the game.
